John Edwards travels with the USA Wrestling Team

John Edwards recently served as team athletic trainer for the USA Wrestling Team that traveled to Kiev, Ukraine. The team, along with athletes from 19 other countries, competed in the Ukrainian Wrestling Federation's Senior Memorial Tournament that was held February 21 - 22.

This is the second time Edwards has traveled overseas with the USA Wrestling team. The first was in July 2008 when the team competed in Greece for the 8th World University Wrestling Championships.

Edwards has 18 years of experience as an athletic trainer. Currently he is the staff athletic trainer and physical therapist at Lafayette Orthopaedic Clinic and Lafayette Rehabilitation Services, Unity Healthcare Partners. He is also Director of Sports Outreach for Lafayette Orthopaedic Clinic.
