Lafayette Orthopaedic Clinic Holds Workers Compensation Symposium

On August 12th, Lafayette Orthopaedic Clinic held its first annual Workers Compensation Symposium at The Pavilions in Ross Ade Stadium.

This all day event was held for the workers compensation related personnel from our local employers and insurance carriers. Over 80 attendees received continuing education credits from both the American Association of Occupation Health Nurses (AAOHN) and the Commission for Certified Case Managers (CCCM).

Attendees received education from the Lafayette Orthopaedic Clinic physicians on various workers comp related injuries, treatments and return to work plans. Purdue Men's Basketball Coach, Matt Painter, was the lunch keynote speaker.

Lafayette Orthopaedic Clinic plans to make this an annual event serving the educational needs of our employer and insurance carrier professionals in our area.
